05. Benefits Derived  
  1. The basic input, 24000 advanced fingerlings 61mm to 80 mm size had been stocked in the water body assisted by WODC during August 2004 from govt. Fish Farm, Loisingha through FFDA. The SHG members harvested 27 Qtls of fish on 07/03/2005 and earned Rs. 81,000/- selling the fishes locally @ Rs.30/- per kg.

2. Thereby fish production has been augmented in the untapped G.P. fishery resource.

3. Fishes made available to the local poor village people which added to their nutritional supplementation.

4. Income derived out of Pisciculture by the Self Help Group - sdded to their livelihood support in improving their wuality of life.

5. Native skill and conventional practices has been upgraded in pisciculture through participatory technologies.
