The
total length of the approach road was 7.18 Km. which starts
at Rly. level crossing near Kansbahal & ends at Kansbahal
Irrigation Project Colony. This road also connected Rajgangpur
civil Sub-divn. This road passes through enterior tribal village
like Kansbahal, Panposh, Kadambahal etc. The road has been
impoved with BT from 0/0 Km. to 5/0 Km., Moonum sub-base from
5/0 Km. to 5/40 Km. and rest portion was earthen. The entire
people of this area were depending on this road for their
medical facilities, educational facilities and transportation
of their agricultural products to their nearest market i.e.
Rajgangpur. During the heavy rain during last years the old
road surface from 5/80 Km. to 7/18 Km. has been fully damaged.
The people as well as the political representatives of this
area were pressing hard for improvement of this road.
This estimate had been framed, Administrative Approval obtained
and work completed in due course out of WODC assistance during
year 2003-04. |
